Radiant Tube

• Radiant tubes are key indirect heating components used in industrial furnaces. Their operating principle is involving a heating source inside the tube, which is transferred to the tube wall. The radiant wall then radiates heat to the furnace chamber and then the material being heated. By using this heating method, these tubes could completely isolate the heated material from combustion products. This allows the use of a specific protective atmosphere within the furnace, which is crucial for preventing oxidation and decarburization.
